Albert A. Gagne, 92, of Salem, NH passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on April 25, 1929, to Mary (Colombe) and Frank Gagne. Albert received his education at local schools and went on to serve in the United States Navy. He spent his career working in Plant Protection for AVCO in Wilmington, MA. Albert was a proud member of the American Legion and VFW Posts of Salem, NH. He was also a former member of the Knights of Columbus in North Andover, MA. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and being involved with the St. Anne's Crusaders of Lawrence.
Albert is survived by his four sons, Albert G. and his wife Susan Gagne of Salem, NH, Denis and his wife Nancy Gagne of Salem, NH, Robert Gagne of Payson, Arizona, and Kenneth and his wife Susan Gagne Manchester, NH.
Six Daughters: Paula Massa of Windham, NH, Gloria and her husband Michael Jutras of Norton, VT, Denise and her husband David Diminico of Norton, VT, Brenda and her husband Stephen Daly of Hampstead, NH, Janice and her husband Michael Snow of Newton, NH, and Sheila and her husband Ricky Colon of Danville, NH.
His sister, Rita Grasso and her husband Carmen of Pelham, NH; 19 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife, Pauline (Lanouette) Gagne, and their son Paul Gagne.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 7 th from 4pm to 7pm at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday morning, at 10am at St. Matthew's Parish, 2 Searles Road, Windham, NH. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew's Parish, 2 Searles Rd, Windham, NH 03087 or to the Rockingham VNA & Hospice, 137 Epping Road, Exeter, NH 03833.
