William Lewis Rines

William “Bill” Lewis Rines, 70, of Pelham, NH, passed away after a brief illness, on Tuesday, July 21st, 2026.

Bill was born on March 6, 1956, to Annette (Myotte) and Lewis Rines. He was raised in Chelmsford, MA and attended local schools. Bill began his career with the Boston Maine Railroad, before enlisting in the United States Air Force. Following his service, he continued his career with the railroad, where he proudly worked for 43 years until his retirement.

He married the love of his life, Linda (Grassi) and the couple raised their family in Pelham, NH. Bill enjoyed time spent tinkering around his home and yard. In his retirement, he loved traveling with Linda throughout Europe, with some of his favorite places being Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia. Nothing brought him greater joy than time spent with his family and cherished grandchildren.

Bill is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Rines; his children, Adam Rines and his wife Andrea, Melanie Rines and her husband Bill Lander, and Bill Rines and his wife Graziela; his grandchildren, Raegan and Ryan Lander, Amelia and Avery Rines, and Gabriela Rines; and his loving extended family and close friends.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 25th from 10am to 12:30pm, with a Funeral Service immediately following at 12:30pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087.
