William J. McDonald, 65, of Hooksett, NH, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 16, 2025. He was born on April 19, 1960, in Methuen, MA, to the late William and Patricia (Bradley) McDonald.

William was raised in Salem, NH, where he attended local schools eventually graduating from Salem High School. Following his graduation, he bravely and proudly served his nation with the United States Marine Corp. He was
also a member of the North Salem United Methodist Church.

In his free time, he was a sports enthusiast, with basketball and baseball being his favorite to play in his younger years. Even later in life, this interest in sports continued, and William was sure to root for his favorite teams at every opportunity he could get.

William leaves behind his siblings, Michael McDonald of Derry, NH, Paul and MaryAnne Iannazzo of Salem, NH, and Wendy and Robert Warren of Wilmington, MA; his stepmother, Merrianne McDonald of Salem, NH; as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will take place on Monday, October 6th, 2025, at 10am, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, 97 East Broadway, North Salem, NH.
