Vincent "Vinny" P. Gedaminsky of Salem, NH, 75, entered into eternal rest June 16, 2024. Vinny was born in Cambridge MA to the late Anthony and Edwinda (Lewko) Gedaminsky. He was a supervisor in the IT department of Harvard University where he was employed for 47 years..

He lived in Salem since 1971 when he purchased his "cottage on a lake" where he enjoyed gathering with his family and friends.

Vinny was an avid fan of horse racing and especially enjoyed Rockingham Park. He was a well known and frequent patron of many local businesses and restaurants who particularly made a point of knowing someone's name to greet them again in a personal way. Vinny enjoyed classical music and had a vast knowledge of the best recordings and orchestras.

He is survived by his siblings Ann Gedaminsky of Melrose, Mary Sudol and her husband John of Andover, Anthony and his wife Mary of Sarasota, FL, Stanley and his wife Lisa and niece Olivia of Bedford, and Julie Finn and her husband George of Washington, NC. In addition, he leaves numerous cousins and extended family as well as many friends and acquaintances in the Salem area.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
