Vincent R. Raciti, 86, of Windham, NH, passed away at home on Thursday, January 9, 2025. He was born on March 6, 1938, to the late Rosario and Genevieve (DiGrazia) Raciti in Methuen, MA.
Vinny was raised in Methuen and attended local schools. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and Emerson College. His greatest passion in life was raising and caring for his late daughter Karen, whom he loved dearly. Vinny was also the dedicated business owner of the Sea Ketch Restaurant at Hampton Beach, which he started over fifty years ago. His commitment and love for the restaurant enabled immense growth and lasting friendships over the years. He was well respected and loved by many employees, who became his extended family. To many, he was a father and grandfather figure and will be greatly missed and remembered by countless people. Vinny was a longtime parishioner of St. Matthew Parish in Windham, NH.
He is survived by his brothers David Raciti and his wife Donna of Salem, NH, and Frank Raciti and his wife Marie of CA and TN; his longtime companion Barbara Cusson; he and Karen's caretaker and close friend Shayna Bryant; righthand business associate Kevin Brown; longtime friend and CPA, Armen Derderian; and several nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
In memory of him and his late daughter, Karen, calling hours will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 4 – 7 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11am at Saint Matthew Church, 2 Searles Road, Windham, NH. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
