Vincent Barbera, 70 of Salem, NH, died Thursday at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH.

Vinnie was born in Lawrence, MA to the late Vincent A. and Marie J. (Souneize) Barbera. He grew up and was educated in Lawrence, MA and Salem, NH, where he graduated from Salem High School. He was a life long resident of Salem, NH, having lived in Northport, FL for 8 years.

Vinnie was a retired liquor commissioner for the State of NH, working at the Salem, NH Liquor Store. Vinnie enjoyed his time in Florida and was very crafty with flowers, designing them for the cemetery, family, and friends. He loved to do projects around his home and was always a jokester. Most of all Vinnie loved being with his family, especially his best buddy and grandson Brady.

Vinnie is survived by his beloved wife Donna (Vir) Barbera of Salem, NH

Son: Jason and his wife Courtney Barbera of Salem, NH

Grandson Brady Barbera of Salem, NH.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, Jan. 4 th from 5-8 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 5 th at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 40 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701 or to the American Cancer Society, 43 Nagog Park, Acton, MA 01720.
