Obituary

Ursula R. Tatoyian, 80, of Salem, NH, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Ursula was born on March 12, 1942, to the late Alfred and Sofie Hahnenstein, in Lawrence, MA. She was part of the Salem High School Class of 1961 and found her passion as a florist while working at Flowers by Constantine.

Ursula loved the outdoors, especially spending time at her family's summer home in Pittsburg, NH. There she could be found, kayaking, hiking, and swimming. Ursula was known for her beautiful rock hardscaping as well as her rock paintings for neighbors around the pond. Anyone who knew Ursula knew she loved her puppies and could often be seen kayaking or walking around the pond with them. She enjoyed spending time with her large family and loved taking her grandchildren swimming, hiking, and teaching them to kayak as well as picnics atop her favorite mountain Mt. Magalloway.

Ursula is survived by her husband of many years: Michael "Mickey" Tatoyian; their children: Michael Tatoyian, of Vermont, Chris Tatoyian, of Georgetown, MA, Leo Tatoyian, of Pelham, NH, and Tracy Kinneen, and her husband Devin, of Salem, NH; her siblings: Christina Watters, and Hans Hahnenstein; her 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
