Tiffany M. Begin-Stearns, 39 of Manchester, NH, died Wednesday, October 28th at Mass General Hospital, after a sudden and brief battle with cancer.
The foundations of the world shook on February 7th, 1987 when Tiffany was born in Salem, MA. She spent her childhood playing, learning, and exploring in Haverhill, MA. Her ability to connect with people led her to initially pursue an education in broadcast journalism at Emerson College. She eventually shifted her focus to being behind the camera, finishing up her degree in video production from Fitchburg State University. After entering the adult world of work with jobs in public broadcast, she discovered a deeper calling for teaching. This led her to obtain a master’s degree in higher education from Merrimack College. Tiffany spent the last 10 years in her white house up on the hill in Manchester.
Tiffany’s life was filled with joy from all angles. She harbored a deep love of music, running, teaching, hiking, camping, cooking, laughing, Disney, working out, gardening, animals, concerts, volunteering, her students, the beach, ice cream, and tacos, just to name a few. Her achievements were mighty. From running up Mt. Washington, to getting her master's degree, to helping tv shows air, to acting on stage, to completing 25+ combined marathons and half-marathons. She worked hard to accomplish all her goals. Each item in this list could have volumes written about them that would put epic poems to shame. Especially the ice cream part.
Without a doubt, her biggest passion was her family and friends. Her 3-year-old son Parker was the brightest star in her sky. She loved him fiercely and completely. She raised him with the help of her husband Dwight, with whom she spent 22 years of her life, 12 of those married. She learned to love so greatly from her parents Paul and Donna, whose dedication to their daughter crafted one of the best human beings the universe has ever seen. She learned joy and patience from her little sister Taylor, whom she was immeasurably proud of. And finally, her legion of friends were always an active participant in the triumphs and tears of her life.
Tiffany is survived by her husband Dwight and son Parker Stearns of Manchester, NH. Her father Paul Begin and his wife Mary Kasper of Salem, NH. Her mother Donna Begin and her husband Calvin Harrison of Unionville, CT. Her sister, Taylor and her wife Erin Begin of Gardner, MA. Her step siblings, Allison and her husband Paul Esposito of Wellesley, MA, Mark and his wife Michelle Routhier of Salem, NH, and Matthew Routhier of Salem, NH. Her grandmothers Elizabeth M. Rechetnuk of Peabody, MA and Theresa Begin of Salem, MA. Her mother and father-in-law Linda and Galen Stearns of Windham, NH. And her innumerable Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Thursday, November 5th from 4-7 PM, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH. Burial will be private for the family at Cemetery on the Plains, Windham, NH.
