Thomas C. Guerin, 74, of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2026, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Tom was born on May 16, 1952, to Evelyn (Landry) and Alfred Guerin. He was raised in Salem, New Hampshire, attended St. Joseph Grammar School, and went on to graduate from Central Catholic High School. Tom began his career, working for Turner’s Dairy Farm. He married the love of his life, Patricia (Kimball) on September 6, 1975, and the couple raised their family in Salem. Tom went on to begin his 30+ year career with Coca Cola.
There are so many wonderful things to say when talking about Tom’s life, but here are just a few. Tom was known as the mayor of the neighborhood, he always enjoyed chatting and offering to help those around him. He took great pride in his “little piece of the planet”, his home, and he loved hosting family and friends there around his pool. Tom enjoyed reading about history, watching birds, organizing his garage, a good slice of chocolate cake, or whatever his wife was cooking. He loved being outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing, or camping.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Guerin; his children, Matt Guerin and his wife Amanda of Olympia, WA and Mandy Harrington and her husband Kyle of Middletown, MA; his grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Sawyer, Mason, and Emma; his sisters, Marianne Guerin and her husband Miguel Perez, and Laurie Whelan and her husband Greg; his sisters-in law, Florence Guerin, Debbie Einsidler and her husband Barry, and Lisa Kostiew and her husband Paul; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by his brother, Jim Guerin.
A Period of Visitation will be held on June 19th from 11am to 12pm, with a Funeral Service beginning at 12pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. As Tom was not one for a suit, the family requests that family and friends attending his services dress comfortably and casually.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salem Animal Rescue League, Shriners Children's, the Wounded Warrior Project, or the charity of your choosing.
