Obituary

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Thomas Ferentino, 85, of Windham, NH on April 29, 2025.  He passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home with family by his side.  He was born June 22, 1939, to late Thomas Ferentino and Reginia Dingeleski.  He was honorably discharged from the Army in 1966.  He graduated from Rutgers University in NJ and began working as an engineer for AT&T.  The company relocated our family to Windham in 1972.  Tom worked for AT&T/Lucent Technologies until he retired.

Tom was married for 62 years to his wife, Lucille, and together they raised three children.  He was a very proud dad and Grandpa and adored his six grandchildren.  He went to every event of theirs he could throughout the years, loved cheering them on, and watching them learn and do new things.  He was a family man, loved having a good time and cherished the times when all the family was together.  He was always a gentleman, kind, generous and caring, whose smile lit up a room.  We will always remember his infectious laugh, especially when he was trying to stir up trouble at our family gatherings.

Tom was a golf enthusiast and took every opportunity he could to play.  He cherished the yearly golf trips he took with his buddies.  He loved playing cards, enjoyed his bridge partners, and would never say no to a poker game.  He enjoyed going to the track and watching horse racing in person.  He loved all sports, but his favorite was watching his grand kids play and letting the refs know when they got the call wrong.

Tom is survived by his wife, Lucille Ferentino; their three children, Jeff Ferentino and his wife Christine, Michelle Ferentino, and Jill Brown and her husband Terry; his beloved grandchildren, Chris, Megan, Lauren and her husband Kody, Courtney, Hannah and Tyler.

We are forever grateful for the support Tom and our family received from his hospice team at Amedisys Hospice Care.  A special thank you to Tammy for all the care, warmth, and comfort she provided to Tom and our family.  We were truly blessed to have them all with us on this year long journey and will never forget all that they did.
