Obituary

Thomas J. Farris, 62, of Salem, NH, died suddenly on Sunday at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Boston, MA.

Tom was born in Lawrence, MA to the late Elias and Mary (Shadeed) Farris and late step-mother Barbara Farris. He grew up, was educated, and was a lifelong resident of Salem, NH, where he graduated from Salem High School in 1978.

Tom was the Director of Operations and the lifeblood of the company culture for Worldcom Exchange Inc. in Salem, NH. Tom's children were the light of his life, and the birth of his granddaughter was one of his greatest joys. His children held tight to his love for his Lebanese heritage, music, kindness, and his desire to always do the right thing. "Tommy" was known to many as one of the most decent human beings any have known, as he lived on the integral words "your word is everything, without it, you have nothing".

Tom was an avid golfer, loved to support his New England teams and to sing along with his music on his Saturday dump run with his dog. He was always a listening ear to all, giving warm hugs, a smile, and a laugh. He enjoyed bonding with his family by sharing music and going to the movies. Most of all, his children and his family were everything to Tom.

Tom is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gina (Coletta) Farris of Salem, NH, beloved children, Carissa Farris of Orlando, FL, Elisha and her husband Nic Todesca of Salem, NH, and Daniel Farris of Washington, DC.

Siblings: Christine Farris of Salem, NH, David and his wife Anne Farris of Derry, NH, Deborah Mosher of Salem, NH, and his late brother Robert Farris.

Cherished Granddaughter: Valentina Clotilde Todesca

Several Farris, Mosher, McLellan and Coletta Nieces and Nephews and McLellan step-siblings.
