Sydney (Wrightson) Tibbetts, 86, of Naples, FL, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, at Greystone Farm, in Salem, NH. She was born on August 15, 1936, to the late Meredith and Phyllis (Kennedy) Wrightson, in Albany, NY. She grew up in Garden City, Long Island, NY, and moved to Stamford, Connecticut as a teen.

On September 6, 1958, Sydney married the love of her life Alvin Tibbetts, and started their life together in New Hampshire. In her free time, she enjoyed taking cooking classes, and spending time with her family. In her later years, Sydney retired to Florida but made her way back to New Hampshire to be closer with family.

In addition to her husband, Sydney is survived by her children: Meredith Fitzgerald, Jennifer Tibbetts, James Tibbetts, and Elizabeth Laquerre; as well as her grandchildren: Colin Fitzgerald, Nicole Cross, and Delaney Tibbetts.
