Svante "Swanny" Stenbeck, 72, of Windham, NH, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, with his loving family by his side.

He was born on October 26,1951, to Claire and Eva Cameron Stenbeck in Cherry Hill, NC, and raised by father Claire and mother Lucille Stenbeck. Svante grew up in Wethersfield, CT. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and spent most of his career in the dental industry. Most recently, he worked as a dental hygienist at Dr. Stanley Schulman's office in Cromwell, CT. Svante was a longtime resident of Cromwell before residing in NH in recent years.

Svante loved nature, enjoyed hiking, bird calling, rock climbing, and listening to a variety of music. Lake Dunmore in Salisbury, VT, holds a special place for him and his family, and he "allways" prioritized spending time with loved ones.

Svante is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Patricia (Smith) Stenbeck; his daughter Samantha Choinski and her husband Kevin of Atkinson, NH; his grandchildren Madison and Marshall; his sister Nancy Johnson; sister-in-law Bok Stenbeck; brother-in-law Tom Smith and sister-in-law Jean (Peter) Moulton; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Svante is predeceased by his siblings Roy, Carol, Ricke and Wendy.

Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 11AM – 1PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home at 1 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Svante's memory to the National Audubon Society.
