Suzanne P. (Begin) Lavoie, 79, of Salem, NH, passed away after a brief illness at the Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA.

She was born on June 27, 1945, to Therese (Vachon) and Albert Begin. Suzanne was raised in Quebec and attended local schools. She immigrated to the United States at the age of 20 and met the love of her life, Rejean Lavoie. The two were married on April 10, 1966, and have enjoyed a beautiful life together. In addition to being a devoted wife, Suzanne was the loving mother of Linda (Lavoie) Ferris and two granddaughters, whom she adored.

Her entire life was dedicated to caring for others. This care extended beyond her family, as she spent many years caring for children and elderly couples. Suzanne loved spending time with her husband, who was her best friend and the love of her life. Her love story with her husband was like none other. Their spark for each other remained ignited until her last breath and continues to live on with her husband. She was happiest when she was around her family and found immense joy in the pride she felt for her daughter and granddaughters. Nothing meant more to her than the moments in the presence of her loved ones. Suzanne also took great pride in her immaculate home and garden of flowers, always ensuring things were just right.

Throughout her life, Suzanne possessed a strong faith and had so much love to give. Her family will remember her as angelic, selfless, empathetic, and nonjudgemental. If you were in her presence, she made YOU feel special, loved, and appreciated. She chose to see the good and the beauty in anyone's heart. Even following her diagnosis of cancer, just last month, Suzanne remained positive and continued to worry about her family rather than herself. In her toughest moments, she put others in front of her and had the ability to find a ray of sunshine on the most challenging day. Her light and love will live forever in our hearts.

Suzanne is survived by her beloved husband, Rejean Lavoie; her daughter, Linda Lavoie- Ferris and her husband Shaun; her granddaughters that brought her such joy, Grace and Sophia Ferris; as well as her brother, Jean-Luc Begin; and many extended family members in the United States and Canada.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Jules "Joe" Begin and Maurice Begin.

Calling hours will be held on June 21, from 11:30 - 1:30pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A brief Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1:30pm, at the funeral home.
