Steven "Steve" S. Rosenberg, 74, of Windham, New Hampshire, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, and devoted grandfather. In addition to the love of his life for more than 51 years, Mary Ann (Hammond) Rosenberg, Steve leaves behind his children, Scott Rosenberg and his wife Mariam Chahine, of Newton, Massachusetts, and Christopher Rosenberg and his wife Danna and their children Christian and Nathan, of Londonderry, New Hampshire.

Steve was born November 12, 1949, in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduating High School, he proudly served his country with the United States Army in Vietnam. With a passion for flying, Steve subsequently joined the Army Air National Guard where he developed strong bonds with the brothers and sisters he proudly served with as a Crew Chief in the 238th Medical Company (formerly the 1159th Medevac Company) of Concord, New Hampshire. As a Guardsman, he was deployed during Desert Storm and later to Bosnia and Iraq.

Steve earned an undergraduate degree in respiratory therapy from Northeastern University, and began a long career as a dedicated respiratory therapist where he was highly regarded for caring deeply for patients and serving as Director of Respiratory Care, EKG, and Biomedical Equipment at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Steve was instrumental in developing a number of treatments for patients at Dana Farber. Steve also served as a member of the Massachusetts Society of Respiratory Care and played a critical role in having Respiratory Therapists recognized and licensed in the state of Massachusetts. Subsequently Steve earned his MBA from Anna Maria College. He retired from both the National Guard and Respiratory Therapy to devote time with family and friends.

Throughout his life Steve, had many interests including motorcycles, a passion that began with modifying his first Honda 554 and carried through to his-long desired and well-deserved Harley. Though Steve had a great love for his hobbies, he found no greater joy than spending days with his grandsons Christian and Nathan. Whether it was doing his favorite job driving grandpa's school bus, watching baseball games, or going to "bumpy road" park, being with his grandchildren was the highlight of his days.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Family Support organization (www.wwfs.org/) or The Stephen Siller Tunnels to Towers Foundation (https://t2t.org/). Services will remain private for family and close friends. Interment will take place at the Cemetery on the Plain in Windham, NH.
