Steven
Hamilton
Jan 12, 1967 — Jul 30, 2024
Salem
Steven Hamilton, 57, affectionately known as "Bundy", died peacefully at his sister's home on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 with his family by his side.
Steven was born on January 12, 1967 in Methuen, MA to the late William A. and Joanne (Roman) Hamilton. He grew up and was educated in Salem, NH.
Growing up, Steven was actively engaged in all types of sports. The Hamilton house was the place where all the kids met to play wiffleball, basketball, ride bikes, swim in the pool and other countless activities, most notably ice hockey. With the support of his parents, he and his siblings had a rich and happy upbringing. This brought Steven a lifetime of friends and memories that he carried throughout his adulthood.
Steven worked for the last 10 years at Bobcat of New Hampshire in Hudson, NH where he was the Rental Manager. He enjoyed his position and looked forward to going to work every day. He was a much-loved staff member and an important part of day-to-day operations. He always commented about how good he was treated by the owners and in turn was devoted and dedicated to them as well. He was easy to talk to and clients and staff found him engaging and down to earth. He will be sorely missed by everyone at Bobcat.
Steven enjoyed Golf, and had a crushing driver swing envied by many. He particularly loved annual outings to Lake Maury in Vt with a great group of friends. He was frequently involved in local charity tournaments and loved traveling to different courses and golf excursions.
Steven enjoyed his Harley Davidson and put many miles on his Road King. He also loved going to casinos with friends and playing keno. He was known to hit the jackpot many times.
Perhaps Stevens greatest joy was in his nieces and nephew and time spent with them. Steven was thrilled to attend his niece Jordan's wedding in Oregon (during the pandemic) in 2021. He is also a "Godparent" to many children of close family friends.
He is survived by his siblings: Dana Hamilton and her husband Rick Jakaitis of Weare, NH. Scott Hamilton and his wife Kathy, of Sandown NH Nieces Jordan Ware of Portland, Oregon, Samantha Hamilton of Sandown NH and Max Modine of Weare NH , and many, many friends.
Per Stevens request, there are no calling hours and services will be private for his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to Fresenius Kidney Care Manchester Dialysis Center, 1750 Elm Street, Suite 03104 or to the VNA of Manchester and Southern NH, 1070 Holt Ave, Suite 1400, Manchester NH 03109.
