Stella Landry, 95, a lifetime resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Sunday evening, October 29th, 2023, at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill.

She was born on December 5, 1927, to Julia (Puk) and John Karcz. Stella attended local schools and was a graduate of the Lawrence High School Class of 1945. She spent many years working for Bay State Merchant. "Stella the teller" was well known for her skill and speed, often having multiple people in her line, just to see her.

Stella was married to the love of her life, Richard R. Landry for over thirty years. She was devoted to her family and her Catholic faith. Stella was always on the go and took many trips to Florida and Old Orchard Beach. Her favorite saying was, "Life is not fair, but God is good."

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Evelyn Hebert; and her 106 nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard, as well as her siblings.

A graveside service will be held for the family at the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
