Shirley Lorraine Ferreira, 87, of Londonderry, NH passed away on Thursday afternoon, September 15 ^th , 2022, at the Elliot Hospital.

She was born on August 29, 1935, to Florence and Placid Cormier. Shirley was raised in Waltham, MA and attended local schools. She married the love of her life, Edmund Ferreira Jr. on September 2, 1956. Shirley was a homemaker for many years while the children were young. She later went on to work for Little Brown and Company.

Throughout her adult years, Shirley had a love of drawing, filling many pages with sketches of birds and other things. She was involved with TOPS in the 1980s and made many friends through the program. In recent years, Shirley was involved in the Windham Senior Center, and was an active parishioner at St. Jude's Church in Londonderry, NH.

Shirley is survived by her children, Eric Ferreira and his wife Annie, Kimberly Habib and her husband David, and Stacey Arno and her husband Brian; her grandchildren, Aaron Ferreira and his wife Melissa, Courtney Rego and her husband Jeff, and Sarah Habib; her great-granddaughter, Elliana; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edmund Ferreira Jr. and her siblings, Mary, Francis, Jerry, and Pearl.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 21 ^st from 10:30am to 11:30am at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11:30am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the NH State Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
