Sheila J. Bendikian, 83, of Atkinson, NH, passed away on Tuesday morning, April 7th, 2026, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA.

Born on May 5, 1942, to Mary M. (Atkinson) and Joseph Kenney, she grew up in and around Boston and the Jamaica Plain area where she loved to go roller skating, participate in swim meets, go to the movies, and be with friends. Before graduating from Roslindale High School, she met her future husband, Henry (Sonny) J. Bendikian, whose marriage would last for sixty-three years. Together they raised three daughters: Lynne Bendikian-Bosteels, Jill Bendikian Troy, and Paula Bendikian Dube. She was a beautiful soul, full of gratitude, compassion, curiosity, love, and kindness. People marveled at her sweet nature as well as her ability to see positivity in everyone.

Sheila worked at Addison-Wesley as an editorial assistant for many years, then later at Wyeth Labs as a lab technician. She loved crossword puzzles, puzzles, learning new things, watching the Red Sox and Patriots, traveling, the beach, golfing, and most of all being with friends and family.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Henry; her three daughters: Lynne and her husband, Glenn Bosteels; Jill; and Paula and her husband, Rick Dube. Grandchildren include:  Andrew Bosteels and his wife Erin, Steffanie Bosteels and her husband Malcolm Arthur, Sean Troy, Timothy Troy, Katie Troy, Ryan Dube, Kaley Dube; and great granddaughters: Renée Bosteels, and Elle Arthur.
