Sandra Lee McLaughlin, 71, of Derry, NH, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, surrounded by her adoring family. She was born on August 26, 1955, in Boston, MA, to the late Wilton and Vincenza (Sacco) Neumyer.

Sandy met the love of her life, Larry, when they were in middle school together. They grew close through countless gatherings with mutual friends and were married on April 26, 1976. They began their family shortly thereafter.

While raising her young family, Sandy also worked as a preschool teacher at Parkway Christian Academy in Revere, MA. Her work there was incredibly fulfilling, allowing her to do what she loved most: caring for children and providing special support to students with differentiated needs.

In her free time, Sandy was an entertainer by nature. She was always planning her next holiday gathering or dinner party, creating memorable occasions that were sure to keep Larry and her guests on their toes. She was bubbly, outgoing, and a true people-person who loved caring for those she loved, whether through a well-cooked meal, a thoughtful gesture, or a long, heartfelt conversation.

Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, and friend. She cherished the people in her life deeply, and her love, warmth, and generosity will forever be remembered by all who knew her.

In addition to her beloved husband of 50 years, Larry T. McLaughlin, Sandy is survived by her children, Tracey and her wife, Michelle Simiele; Keith and his wife, Liz; and Ryan and his wife, Kristina ; her grandchildren, Gracie and Sadie; her siblings, Linda Haffner; Carol O’Connell and her husband, John; Debra Siuda and her husband, Charles; and Denise MacInnis and her husband, Paul; as well as many dear friends and members of her extended family.

She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Wilton “Bo” Neumyer; and her brother-in-law, Thomas Haffner.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral service.
