Ruth L. (Allard) Canney, 78 of Salem, NH, died peacefully on Friday at the High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill, MA, with her family by her side.

Ruth was born in Lawrence, MA to the late Roland and Louise (Demers) Allard. She grew up and was educated in Lawrence, MA attending Sacred Heart School. She was a residnet of Salem, NH for the past 5 years, formerly a longtime Methuen, MA resident.

Ruth was a Home Health Aid. She was a member of St. Monica's Church in Methuen and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Ancient Hibernians in Lawrence, MA. She enjoyed going out to eat and loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren,

Besides her parents Ruth was predeceased by her husband of 40 years Thomas Canney and her sister Lucille Maier.

She is survived by her children: Heather and her husband Terry Licciardi of Atkinson, NH, Aaron and his wife Amanda Canney of Derry, NH

Brother: Bob and his wife Linda Allard of Seabrook Beach, NH

Grandchildren: Alexis, Jake, Mason, Rhyleigh, and Sawyer

4 Nieces and 2 Nephews, and her beloved cat "Moose"

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Monday, October 24 ^th from 4-7 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Oct. 25 ^th at 11 AM at St. Monica's Parish, Methuen, MA. Interment will be private for the family.
