Rosalind (Ponte) Winne, 74, of Windham, NH, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, with her family by her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Rosalind was born on November 16, 1949, in Lawrence, MA and she was a longtime resident of North Andover, MA.

As an amazing cook, Rosalind enjoyed hosting gatherings and holidays, she was happiest when everyone was well fed and enjoying each other's company. She especially enjoyed passing down recipes and traditions, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  If she wasn't in the kitchen, her other favorite places would be on any beach or in her backyard by the pool. Rosalind also enjoyed playing cards and going for lunch with her closest friends.

Rosalind is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert Winne; her children, Matthew Winne and his wife Jeni of Apex, NC, and Kara Massey and her husband Chris of Windham, NH; her stepchildren, Lisa Winne of Cooperstown, NY and Thomas Winne of Cooperstown, NY; her grandchildren, Violet, James, Tyler, Nick and Ben; her great-grandchild Jacob; and her brothers, Bernie Ponte (wife Madeleine) and Joe Ponte. Rosalind was also a beloved cousin and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents Alfio and Florence (Calabrese) and her sister Frances (Frannie) Waller Hill.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, December 19th from 4-7PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7PM at the funeral home.
