Ronald
Sullivan
Nov 3, 1959 — Mar 13, 2025
Derry
Ronald Sullivan, 65, of Derry, NH, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on November 3, 1959, in Norwood, MA, to the late William and Dorothy (Gourley) Sullivan. Ron was raised in Wrentham, MA, where he graduated from King Phillip Regional High School, Class of 1977. He later earned a bachelor's degree in Restaurant and Hospitality Management from Bryant College. Ron recently retired after a long and successful career working for a number of restaurants.
Ron and Mary (Murphy) met when the two were just twelve years old, and after much convincing on his part, the pair began dating when they were seniors in high school. Inseparable from that time on, Ron and Mary were married in 1980 and later began their family together. After many moves with Ron's work, the two decided to return home to New England and settled in Derry, NH. In his free time, Ron was an avid Boston sports fan, with the Patriots and Celtics holding a special place in his heart. He was an antique car enthusiast and even owned a few antiques of his own throughout the years. Above everything however, Ron was a family man who enjoyed time spent with his three children. This love of family was only strengthened when he became a grandfather to his five beloved grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and best friend of 45 years, Mary Sullivan, Ron is survived by his children, Amy Lamson and her husband Thomas of Methuen, MA, Jenn Tristaino and her husband Nick of Derry, NH, and Ryan Sullivan and his wife Kirstyn of Chester, NH; his grandchildren, Parker Caron, Gabby Lamson, Tommy Lamson, Cooper Sullivan, and Bodie Sullivan; his brother Russell Sullivan; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Robert Sullivan.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 19th , from 4-6pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A brief funeral will immediately follow, beginning at 6pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home. The burial will remain private for the family.
