Ronald "Ron" J Boyd

Ronald J. Boyd, 92, of Windham, NH, passed away on November 2, 2026, at All American Assisted Living, in Londonderry, NH. He was born on June 7, 1934, to the late Joseph R. Boyd and Claire A. (Hagmann), in Newark, NJ.

Feeling a call to service, Ron joined the U.S. Army and proudly served during the Korean War, serving alongside his comrades until he was honorably discharged. Later in life, he continued to help fellow veterans as part of the Korean War Veterans Association.

Ron was quite proud of his Bell system career, working for Western Electric and AT&T the majority of his life. In his free time, Ron enjoyed woodworking and even renovated a 200-year-old house completely. An outdoorsman, Ron enjoyed sailing and scuba diving. He also enjoyed his model train collection. Above all, Ron was a proud father and family man.

Ron is survived by his wife: Mary Anne Boyd; his children: Cathleen Bernero, Kathleen O’Neill, and James O’Neill; his grandchildren: Shane, Richie, Ryan, Joshua, Tyler, Connor, Jack, and Elin; and his great-grandchildren: Colton, Elliott, and Alexander.

In addition to his parents, Ron is predeceased by his children: William J. Boyd and Margaret O’Neill; as well as his brother: Raymond Boyd.
