Obituary

Roger L. Clark, 66, of Windham, NH, passed away on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston with his family at his side. After living a life centered in the Christian faith that most recently involved leading bible study groups and serving as an elder at Rockingham Christian Church, he now rests peacefully in his heavenly home.

Roger was born on June 24, 1958, to the late David L. and Mabelle I. (Stocker) Clark. He was raised in central Ohio. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn R. (Banitt) Clark; his daughters Tracey Serrentino and her husband Dean of Boxford, MA and Robyn Dolan and her husband Sam of Manchester, NH; his granddaughter Francesca; his siblings Jim Clark and Ann Kennedy Clark; and several nieces and nephews. With his daughters he began an annual tradition that he called "Day With Dad", which included trips to Boston museums, NYC and favorite ice cream shops.

From an early age Roger enjoyed learning how things worked, which led to his successful career in electrical engineering. Roger received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and later received his graduate degree from Penn State University. He also spent time as a professor at Penn State before relocating to New England. There he worked at several companies designing essential components for application in the space, telecommunications and defense industries and was a mentor to many aspiring young engineers. Roger was proud of his many patents and retired as an Engineering Fellow from Raytheon.

In his leisure time, he enjoyed the outdoors and could be found bicycling, cross-country skiing and hiking in the White Mountains. Roger also delighted in sampling international foods and recreating them for dinner guests. He shared many road trips with his wife, camping and visiting national parks. He had an extensive selection of entertaining and humorous campfire stories. Together in their retirement years, Roger and Lynn continued these adventures in southwest Florida.
