Robert Paul Trask, Jr.

Robert Paul (Bobby) Trask, Jr., 45, passed away suddenly on August 1, 2026, at his home in South Lake Tahoe, California. He was the beloved husband of Amy Armstrong, with whom he shared nearly nine years of marriage.

Bobby was born on April 1, 1981, in Norwood, Massachusetts, the son of Arlene (Brawley) and Robert Trask, and was raised in Hampstead, New Hampshire. He graduated high school from Pinkerton Academy, Class of 2000, and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Southern New Hampshire University.

In addition to his loving wife Amy and their beloved white dog, Watson; Bobby will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his parents, Arlene and Bob; his brother, Jimmy and his wife Alexandra and their children, Blake and Harley; his brother, Stephen and his wife Megan and their children Caroline and George, his grandmother, Elizabeth Trask, and a very large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He also leaves behind an extraordinary group of friends in New Hampshire and Lake Tahoe whom he embraced as family through years of shared adventures, powder days, boat rides, mountain sunsets, and unwavering support for one another.

Bobby loved his family and his friends. He was a kind and gentle person, with a big beautiful smile. He was loyal and generous, and the loving bonds that he made and shared with so many were tight.

Bobby had a lifelong passion for alpine skiing, developed at an early age, which became the common thread and guiding light for his life. His love of skiing and the outdoors was what initially brought him to Lake Tahoe; where he settled and met the love of his life and soulmate, Amy.

He also loved boating and water sports, born of many years of summer vacations on Cape Cod; and was quite proud and took meticulous care of his vintage ski boat.

Amy and Bobby said their wedding vows on a gorgeous sunny day just off the shore in Lake Tahoe. Barefoot, and in crystal clear ankle-deep water on the swim platform of his boat - next to their handsome dog, Watson, with snow-capped mountains in the background – the picture-perfect setting.

The famous quote "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." fit Bobby perfectly. He did what very few are fortunate enough to do, he loved working in the industries of his passions – skiing and boating; and he was very proud to represent leading manufacturers in both.

He was very skillful and knowledgeable of all things related to skiing and ski equipment and boating and water sports equipment; and he combined those skills with a conscientious work ethic and customer service approach that rewarded him with an ever-expanding group of loyal customers – who also became his friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, New Hampshire. His Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, September 29, 2026, at 11:00AM at Saint Anne Parish, 26 Emerson Ave., Hampstead, New Hampshire. Interment will be held privately.
