Robert Philibert "Big Bob" Perreault, of Methuen, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on December 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 17, 1940, and was the devoted husband and high school sweetheart of Yvonne Cecile (Allard) Perreault, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage.

Robert was predeceased by his parents, Philibert and Dorothy Perreault. He is survived by his beloved wife Yvonne; his brothers Richard Perreault of Raymond, NH, and Paul Perreault of Windham, NH; and his four sons: Wayne Perreault and his wife Carol of Chester, NH, Robert K. Perreault and his wife Corinna of Methuen, MA, John Perreault and his wife Laurie of Pittsfield, MA, and Gary Perreault and his wife Brigitte of Salem, NH. He was the proud grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Judy Lacroix and her husband Lucien, of Newburyport, MA.

Known affectionately as "Big Bob," he prioritized his family above all else. He was a man of deep faith, great compassion, and extraordinary generosity. Together with his wife Yvonne, he dedicated his life to caring for others. Humble by nature, Bob rarely thought of himself, always placing the needs of those around him first.

Bob dedicated 44 years of service to Lawrence Savings Bank, where he was a trusted and respected presence in both the bank and the surrounding community. His commitment earned him the affectionate title of "Mr. Lawrence Savings Bank." He attended Bentley University and later obtained his Certificate of Banking from Brown University, reflecting his lifelong dedication to his profession and to excellence in service.

A lifelong man of faith, Bob was an active member of St. Theresa's Church and St. Monica's Church in Methuen, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. At St. Theresa's, he was deeply involved in youth sports, serving as both a referee and umpire. He was also a proud member of the St. Monica's Knights of Columbus, achieving 4th Degree status.

Bob was an avid golfer and a passionate sports fan who loved gathering with his family to cheer on their favorite Boston teams. He also coached Methuen Little League for many years, giving generously of his time to the community's youth.

In addition, Bob was a member of the Lawrence Exchange Club, Holy Family Men's Guild, and Mary Immaculate Guild, and he served as both President and Board Member of Berkley Retirement and Nursing Center.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 4:00–7:00 PM at Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. Monica's Church, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.

Bob's family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation for the outstanding care, comfort, and support provided by the nurses, social workers, caregivers, and support staff who assisted during this time. A special thank you is extended to Rosa Franco, who went above and beyond her role and became a dear friend and a true source of comfort and support to the family.
