Robert Ross Boardman went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 20th, 2023, at the age of 78.
Bob was born December 7th, 1945, to Francis and Olga (Sholik) Boardman.
He leaves his wife of 54 years Janice (Champagne) Boardman, daughter Alisa Woodward and husband Randy Woodward. His son Dana Ross Boardman and wife Tania (Davis) Boardman.
Bob was affectionally known as "B-Pa" to his 4 granddaughters Meghan Boardman, Olivia Boardman, Jennifer Woodward and Karlee Woodward. "B-Pa" was very proud of his granddaughters and loved to celebrate all of their successes.
Bob loved his brother Ken and wife Karen "Fram" Boardman. He also had several nieces and nephews, Diane (Champagne) Hodgdon, David Champagne, Sarah Champagne, Bryan Fram, Chris Boardman and Eric Boardman.
He was predeceased by his mother Olga (Jackie) and father Francis (Frank) Boardman.
Bob was born in Lawrence MA. Where he grew up and attended Lawrence High school. Bob was one of the youngest members of the varsity track team joining as a freshman, this team went on to become state champions. Later he joined the Army and served his country stationed in Korea and Germany. After returning home, he met the love of his life, Janice Champagne from Dover NH and enjoyed 54 years of marriage. After having children Bob and Jan built a home in Windham NH and enjoyed many years there.
Bob was a member of the Windham Presbyterian Church, he enjoyed cooking, woodworking, deep sea fishing, and reading. He loved going out to dinners with family and spending time together. He worked at Compugraphic/Agfa for 33 years prior to retirement in 2002.He then worked some part-time jobs where he made some lifelong friendships.
Bob will be remembered lovingly and missed greatly.
