Richard H. Loeschner, 82, of Salem, NH, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 with loving family by his side.

He was born on September 17, 1942, in Lawrence, MA, to the late Henry R. and Cecilia (Sova) Loeschner. Dick was raised in Methuen and graduated from Tenney High School, class of 1961. After graduation, he attended trade school, and later became a lineman for Massachusetts Electric. Dick attained the status of master electrician and retired as a supervisor for the Underground division, completing over 40 years of service with the same company.

Dick enjoyed summers on Cobbetts Pond with family and friends and looked forward to the fall, as he was a Patriots season ticket holder since 1971. Dick also enjoyed golfing, NASCAR, tinkering with old cars, and most of all, spending time with his adored grandchildren and their pups.

Dick was predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years, Sandra Joyce Loeschner and his son Eric Loeschner.

He is survived by his children John Harnois and his wife Nancy, Steven Loeschner and his wife Donna and Michael Harnois and his wife Patricia; his daughter-in-law Debbie Adler and her husband Kevin; his grandchildren Sean Harnois and his wife Vanessa, Amy Harnois, Olivia Harnois, Cole Harnois, Genevieve Harnois and Tyler Loeschner; and his great-grandson Oliver Harnois.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th at 11am at Elmwood Cemetery, 130 N. Lowell Street, Methuen, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Salem Animal Rescue League. Arrangements are in the care of the Carrier Family Funeral Home, Windham, NH.
