Richard A. Demers, 84 of Salem, NH died peacefully at his home in Salem.

Richard was born in Lawrence, MA to the late Florian and Marie (Blanchette) Demers. He grew up and was educated in Lawrence, attending Sacred Heart School. He was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 48 years.

Richard was a retired Lab Technician for Borden Chemical in North Andover, MA. He was a US Army veteran, who served his country proudly. He enjoyed bowling, sailboats, and motorcycle adventures with his brother Albert. He loved gardening and being outdoors, but mostly he loved being with his family.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife Sandra J. (Hill) Demers of Salem, NH

Children: Sharon and her husband Steven Jensen of Georgia, Steven and his wife Tracey Demers of Milford, NH, and Diane and her husband Chuck Dant of Candia, NH

Grandchildren: Christopher Trenholm, Ashley Libby, and Andrew Demers

Great Grandchildren: Shane and Tyler Trenholm, and Autumn and Arlo Demers

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Monday, April 8th from 9-11 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH. Burial with military honors will take place on Tuesday, April 9th at 12 noon at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
