Jr.
Oct 25, 1934 — Nov 23, 2024
Ralph Faiella Jr. of Cedar Health Care, Portsmouth, NH passed away November 23, 2024 at the age of 90. He was born and raised in East Boston, MA, and the son of the late Ralph and Theresa (Mazzarella) Faiella. He was predeceased by his wife Geraldine (Ciampa) in 2015, whom he was married to for 60 years. He was a self-employed plumber and a proud member of the St. Matthew Church community. He was also a long time resident of Big Island Pond where you could find him cruising the lake in his party boat.
You could find Ralph having breakfast at Casey's Diner, and if he wasn't there he was at Mr. Mike's Restaurant having dinner where he had his own personal parking space in front of the building. He enjoyed Saturday luncheons with his sister-in-law Jeanne Faiella at Kitty's Restaurant where all the staff knew them. He always drove a Cadillac that he washed weekly and was known for bringing a jug of Carlo Rossi wine and Mann's Apple Orchard Pies to holiday and Sunday dinners.
His spirit lives on by his four children, Debra A. (Faiella) Paynter and her husband Robert of NH, Robert M. Faiella of FL, James M. Faiella and his wife Chris of ME, and Steven M. Faiella and his wife Laura of NH. He has two sister-in-laws, Jeanne Faiella of Reading MA and is predeceased by his brother Phil Faiella, and Jaqueline Bossi of East Boston and predeceased by his brother-in-law Joe Bossi. He was a proud Grandfather to nine grandchildren, Lindsey, Steven, Stephanie, Kevin, Nathan, Brianna, Nick, Nolan and Mikey. He was also lucky to have two great grandchildren, Sawyer and Theo. Ralph will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and his children's friends who loved him.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Cedar Health Care, especially the girls who called him Papa and the Cornerstone Hospice team for their kind compassionate support.
