Patricia Anne (Riley) Rosentrater passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at High Pointe Hospice House on July 23, 2023 after a short illness.

Pat graduated from Tenney High School Class of 1954 and MacIntosh School of Business. During her career as an Administrative Assistant she worked at several companies in the Merrimack Valley. The majority of her professional career was spent at the Town Clerk's Office and the Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.

Pat spent the majority of her life in Methuen raising her three sons. She eventually moved to Atkinson, NH and finally to The Residence at Salem Woods. The joy of her life was her family and the beach. She especially loved her grand and great grandchildren. Pat enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends. Holidays at her home were filled with love and laughter.

Born on January 18,1937 Pat was the daughter of the late James W. Riley and Beatrice C. (Reeves). Pat was pre-deceased by the love of her life, her husband Robert L Rosentrater, Jr. and her beloved sister Dorothy (Riley) Chadwick.

Pat is survived by her sons, Scott C Rosentrater, Holly (Wicks) Salem, NH; Michael J Rosentrater, Lynne (Auclair) New Smyrna Beach, FL;  and Robert L Rosentrater Jr, Donna (Blackington) Salem, NH. Her grandchildren, Ashley Simonds (Andy) Orlando, FL; Lindsay Reichard (Nicholas) Scarborough, ME; Robbie Rosentrater (girlfriend, Shanon) Cambridge, MA; Jacob Rosentrater 82nd Airborne, (girlfriend, Rachel) Ft. Bragg, NC; Emily Takacs (Chris) Marlborough, MA. Her great grandchildren Janie, Finnley, Archer and Wells Simonds; Rosie Reichard and her soon to be great granddaughter Daisy Reichard. Pat is also survived by her cherished siblings, Mary Jane Taylor and James W Riley, Jr. (Mary), her sister in law Karen (Rosentrater) Johnson, and her brother in law Kenneth Chadwick as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.Her life long friends Beverly Hasty and Terry Levesque.

Friends and family are invited to Calling Hours on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 4-7 PM, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
