Norma T. (Dube) Fortin, 87, longtime resident of Lowell, MA, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, with her loving daughter by her side.

Born on June 18, 1938, in Lowell to the late Maurice and Anita (Beauchesne) Dube. Norma attended Lowell schools, graduating from Lowell High School, class of 1957.

She retired from the Bailey School in 2007 having worked as a Library Aide.

A familiar face at the Lowell Folk Festival she was a volunteer for over 30 years, an active member of the Lowell Senior Center and volunteered at the Lowell Humane Society.

In addition to her parents, Norma is predeceased by her husband, Norman J. Fortin.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Walker-Gallant and her spouse Eden Gallant of Hudson, NH, her sisters-in-law, Sister Elaine Fortin SCH and Denise Paton and her husband Walter along with many friends that will miss her dearly.

Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 10AM, at Saint Mark the Evangelist Parish, 1 South Road, Londonderry, NH 03053. Interment will take place privately at a later date in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford, MA.
