Born August 29, 1926, in Fairfield, ME, Noella Fischer passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family on September 29, 2024. A devoted mother of six and a beloved grandmother and great grandmother, Noella's life was defined by selfless love, strength, and a boundless commitment to her family. She dedicated herself to nurturing her children and grandchildren, offering endless kindness, wisdom, and strength. Her home was a place of warmth and safety, with her faith serving as the cornerstone and foundation of her life.

The wife of the late Henry Fischer for forty years, Noella is survived by her children: Joseph, Henry Jr., Robert and wife Sharon, Susan Stone and husband Jay, Carol Guerard and husband Phill, James and wife Rosemary; her grandchildren: Kathryn, Timothy, Christopher, Emily, Camden, Gabrielle, Maggie, and Quentin; and great-granddaughter Ella, all of whom will remember her as the heart of their family.

Her legacy is one of unyielding devotion, affection, and loyalty—qualities that made her not only an extraordinary woman, but a true pillar of strength and inspiration. Mom, your unconditional love and unwavering spirit will always remain in our hearts. Your life was a beautiful testament to a life well lived, and we are truly blessed by the gifts you bestowed upon us— you being the greatest gift of all.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 1-4 pm, with a time of shared memories at 3:30 pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Route 111, Windham, NH. A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 11 AM, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2 Searles Road, Windham, NH, with a private burial immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or the National Marrow Donor Program (formerly Be The Match). Family and friends are encouraged to register as bone marrow donors or blood/platelet donors to help those battling blood cancer.
