Nancy A. Lavoie

Nancy A. (Hebert) Lavoie, 70, passed away on Monday morning, September 7, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 14, 1956, to Grace (Sabin) and Francis Hebert.

Nancy met the love of her life, Richard Lavoie, through friends, in 1972. The couple married on May 1, 1976, and raised their family in Hampstead, NH.

Nancy’s warm-hearted and friendly demeanor was appreciated by the people she welcomed at the Andover Inn where she worked for thirty years and later at North Andover Chiropractic.

Nancy found great joy in spending time with family and celebrating special moments together. Much of this care and love was focused on her beloved grandchildren, who adoringly referred to Nancy as “Mimi”. She was known for decorating for the holidays. She could often be found on the porch swing reading a book and sometimes at the sewing machine creating costumes for her grandchildren.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard Lavoie; her children, Amber Bouchard and husband Christopher, and Jesse Lavoie and his wife Courtney; her grandchildren, Evelyn and Isabelle Bouchard; her siblings, Joyce Marshall and husband Ed, Wayne Hebert and wife Cheryl, Ronald Hebert and wife Cheryl, Francis Hebert and wife Priscilla, Janice Derosiers and husband James, and Renee Blodgett and husband Scott; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her sister, Linda Hebert.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 14th, from 4 to 7pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday morning, at 11am, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
