Nancy LaFlamme Casagrande, 79, of Windham, NH, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2026, with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 7, 1947 in Lawrence, MA, to the late Jospeh & Rose A. (Andesse) Matthes.

Nancy was raised and received her education in Methuen, Massachusetts, where she graduated from Tenney High School before continuing her studies at Castle College in Windham, NH. She built a remarkable and successful career as a Realtor and Sales Manager in the Salem and Windham areas, working for the Masiello Group until her retirement in 2008. Known for her strong work ethic, integrity, and genuine care for her clients, Nancy earned the respect of her community and served as the President of the Realtor’s Association in NH.

Nancy enjoyed the finer things in life, never saying no to a shopping trip or an excuse to get dressed up. She was an avid traveler, sharing a lifetime of unforgettable adventures with her family and her devoted husband, Ronald. Together, they explored the world, visiting Singapore, Paris, England, Germany, Italy, Aruba, and Hawaii. Ronald & Nancy also held a deep love for the ocean, spending cherished time on the water in ports across New England, discovering local dining, and watching the sun set over the sea.

Above all else, Nancy was a deeply family-oriented woman. Her greatest pride was her family, be it by blood or by choice, and she was tremendously blessed with 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and steady guidance will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle M. LaFlamme and Denise Woll of Windham, NH; their children, Dominic, Isabelah, and Jayden LaFlamme; her son, Leo LaFlamme Jr. of Windham, NH; her former husband and dear friend, Leo LaFlamme Sr. and his wife Sharon of Salem, NH; her brother, Gary Matthes of Maryland; her children by choice, Deborah O’Rourke and husband Jay of Salem, NH, Wayne Casagrande and his wife Betsy of Florida, Robyn Hughes and her husband John of Pennsylvania, and Joanne Reardon and her husband Vinny of Vermont; her extended grandchildren, Jonathan and Christopher O’Rourke, Sarah and Bryan Casagrande, Kellen, Kyleigh and Ally Hughes, and David and Dani Reardon; her great-grandchildren, Thomas, Hannah and Kyle; and her good friend, Seppie Casagrande of Salem, NH.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald J. Casagrande, and her sister, Joyce Matthes.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday morning at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew’s Church, 3 Searles Road, Windham, with burial to immediately follow at the Cemetery on the Plains.
