Obituary

Nadine B. Sutliff, 77, of Windham, NH (and formerly Andover, MA), died peacefully at home on Thursday, March 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 24, 1948, in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marian (Pridachuk) Bosak.

In the fall of 1966, Nadine met the love of her life, William Sutliff (Bill), while they were students at the University at Albany, NY. Their bond was immediate and lasting, and they were married on June 14, 1969. Together they shared fifty-six wonderful years of marriage.

A dedicated educator, Nadine taught History and English and spent nineteen years at Tewksbury Memorial High School in Tewksbury, MA, after beginning her teaching career in Burnt Hills, NY. She especially loved U.S. History and had a unique ability for recalling historical facts from memory. Nadine cared deeply about her students, took pride in their success, and was known for the steady encouragement she offered both inside and outside the classroom.

Outside of work, Nadine found joy in Broadway musicals, music, a good book, long walks with her dog Bandit, and many lively Mahjong games with friends. In retirement, she and Bill made treasured memories traveling together, whether exploring national parks, visiting countries abroad, or returning to her favorite place, Siesta Key, FL.

Nadine will be dearly missed by her husband, Bill; her children, Craig Sutliff and his wife Erin of Danville, NH, and Todd Sutliff and his wife Amanda of Acton, MA; and her beloved grandsons, Aiden, Declan, and Jack. She is also survived by her brother, Steve Bosak and his wife Jean of Monroe, NJ (and originally of Staten Island, NY); her cousins, Lisa Swift of Palm Beach, FL and Margie Gledhill of Charlotte, NC; along with many treasured friends and members of her extended family.
