Michael W. Swiderski, 70, of Windham, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 21, 2025.
Mike's charismatic and humorous nature was a joy to be around and made him a natural in the media industry, with radio being a passion since childhood. He had his first radio show as a high schooler on his hometown radio station in Tyrone, PA, and eventually becoming known as "Mr. Saturday Night" on the air. He loved the ability to reach a diverse audience on the air, through music.
He served his country in the United States Air Force and while stationed in North Dakota met the love of his life, Anita Morales. They married in 1979. Being in radio and tv, they traveled and lived all over the country eventually leading to the move to New England. He was also a great cook, amateur magician and devoted animal lover. Lastly employed at the Union Leader.
At his core, Michael was a family man who adored his twin sons. The best dad ever, he was involved and interested in all of their endeavors. His proudest and happiest moments in life were experienced while spending time with his boys. His family is forever grateful for the many fun, exciting and joyful memories together, which Mike most always was the catalyst for.
In addition to his beloved wife of 46 years, Michael is survived by his sons Dylan and Noah, his beloved siblings, Susan and husband Paul, David, Caron and daughter in law Lily.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Animal Rescue Veterinary Services, Londonderry, NH
A small Celebration of Life will be held at the Common Man in Windham, on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 6-8:30pm.
