Martin Conrad "Marty" Olesen, 80, of Windham, NH, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Massachusetts General Hospital, after a lengthy illness. He was born on December 14, 1943, to the late Christian H. and Marie M. (Hemme) Olesen, in Hartford, CT.

Marty was educated at the DF Burns School, he then graduated from Hartford Public High School with the Class of 1961. Marty attended college at the University of Hartford in 1965, before earning his Masters Degree in Marketing from the University of Connecticut.

In his free time, Marty enjoyed running cross country and wrestling in college before joining the U.S. Army Reserves for over 4 years. Marty also enjoyed skiing, reading mystery books, watching old movies, and taking long walks on the beach.

Marty leaves behind his love of over 29 years: Susan Dover, of Windham, NH; his brothers: Raymond Olesen, of Cummings, GA, and Edward Olesen, of Newington, CT; his nephew: Christian H. Olesen IV; and his nieces: Tamatha Olesen Sycz, of Southington, CT, and Cory Olesen Osler, of Marratta, GA.
