Martha Mary Boulay, 70, of East Hampstead, NH, passed away after a three-year battle with ovarian cancer on Monday, October 3, 2022.

Martha was born on June 4, 1952, to Alice (Buckjune) and John Coalter. Martha was raised in Chelmsford, MA, and graduated from Chelmsford High School.  She went on to earn her associate degree from the Chandler School in Boston. Following graduation, she began her career in Accounts Payable.

Martha and her husband Bob lived in Windham, NH, before moving to Arizona, where they spent 33 wonderful years enjoying the West and making beloved friends. Her illness brought her back to New England, where her family is, and they settled in East Hampstead, NH.

Martha was a lover of birds; she had pet birds and collected various bird items over the years. Martha also had a soft heart for less fortunate dogs, taking them home and loving the ones nobody else would take from the shelter.

Martha is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Robert Boulay; her stepdaughters, Kim Boulay of Dover, NH, and Jeannine Myers and her husband Jeff of Hooksett, NH; her grandchildren, Nichole Muller, Cheridan Paine, Brody Myers, and Caleb Myers; her brothers, William Coalter and his wife Louise, and Kevin Coalter and his wife Joyce; her nieces and nephews, Debbie Coalter, Susan Riggins, Chris Coalter, Kelly Raymond, and Jordan Coalter; and her two best friends, Linda Patenaude and Kathy Guilmette.

In addition to her parents, Martha was predeceased by her brother John Coalter and his wife Jeanette.

A small gathering will be held at their residence on Monday, October 10th, from 11 am to 12:30.

Martha's family would like to extend their deepest thanks to Dr. Richard Penson and his team at Mass General Hospital for their exceptional care during her treatment. They also appreciate the care from her nurse Carol and the rest of the staff at High Pointe Hospice for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.
