Martha Bell, Matriarch of the "Bell Clan", passed away quietly, free of pain, at her home on April 6th, 2026, at the age of 94 1/2 yrs old, surrounded by her family and friends.

Martha is survived by her three sons: William, Wayne and Lloyd and two daughters: Nancy and Michelle. She is predeceased by her two oldest sons Tommy and Jeffery.

Martha was a Great Great-Grandmother and very much loved by all. Martha was made a single mother following the passing of her husband, Thomas Milton Bell, in 1967. She was left to raise 7 children ranging in ages from 15 to 3. Martha never re-married and raised her seven children by herself, till her passing. From fishing off the pier of Duxbury to visiting her sister Barbara Kaehler in Chatham, MA with Nancy, Missy and Lloyd in tow. Martha loved Cape Cod and purchased a small home in Buzzards Bay in 1979.

Mom was able to purchase a home in Naples, FL to escape the "New England" winters. Mom "snow birded" to Naples for almost 30 years. She had her last winter in Naples this year and returned home to Woburn, MA, just two weeks ago. Mom had been fighting with some health issues but was still able to enjoy her life as much as possible. Martha will be sorely missed by all her family and friends.
