Marlene Anne Almeida, 55, of Derry, NH passed away on June 21, 2025, at her home.

Born and raised in Charlestown, Boston, Massachusetts, Marlene was a proud wife and mother to her four children. She attended local schools and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in nursing from Northeastern University.

Marlene spent her career as an ICU nurse and had a special place in her heart for her patients. The incredibly caring woman that she was, she lived and breathed for her family.

She loved spending time at the beach, collecting seashells or peacefully floating with the waves. But most of all, Marlene loved having a good time being surrounded by her husband and kids.

Marlene is survived by her adoring husband of 28 years, Fredy E. Parada; her children, Michaela Arroyo and her husband Kapil Koppolo, Shyanne Alzate and her husband Bryan, Jonathan Parada Almeida, and Kateri Parada Almeida; her siblings, Tina, Tommy, and Christine McDonough; as well as her uncle, Frank Almeida.

She was predeceased by her mother, Janet (Almeida) McDonough.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 29th, from 2 pm to 5 pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday morning, at 11am, at St. Matthew's Parish, 2 Searles Rd in Windham.
