Maria Costa Arruda, 67, of Fall River, MA, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in Sandown, NH, with her family at her side.

She was born on April 26, 1956, to the late Antonio and Isaura (Raposo) Carvalho, in Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugal.

Maria enjoyed life and often loved spending time with her family here, as well as back home in Portugal. Cooking was also close to Maria's heart, as she loved preparing delicious meals for her family.

Maria is survived by her children: Peter Arruda, and his wife, Jen Cardona, of Swansea, MA, Paula Cairl, and her husband Dan, of Sandown, NH, Marco Arruda, and his wife Kaylin, of Clarksville, TN, and Brian Arruda, of Fall River, MA; 16 siblings, and 12 grandchildren.
