Margaret Keltz, 82, of Windham, NH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, while surrounded by her beloved family. She was born on January 4, 1943, in New York, NY, to the late Patrick and Grace (Engelhardt) Houlihan.

Margaret met the love of her life, Geoffrey Keltz, in 1965, while vacationing in Manasquan, NJ over Labor Day weekend. The two fell head over heels for one another and were married by September of 1966, later starting their family in 1967. After Geoffrey's service in the Navy brought them to New England, the couple made their home of 30 years in Stow, MA.

Margaret worked as a science teacher in Westford, MA for many years, a career which she returned to after a brief intermission while raising her young family. She was elegant and enjoyed creating a warm and inviting home. Margaret also enjoyed golfing, reading, and painting. Above everything, she was a doting and beloved mother and grandmother, who will be remembered for her humor and devotion to her family.

Margaret leaves behind her husband of nearly 60 years, Geoffrey Keltz, as well as their children: Christine and her husband Anthony Wespiser of Townsend, MA; and Jed and his wife Heather Keltz of Providence, RI; and grandchildren, Anna Wespiser, Chloe Wespiser, Lila Keltz, and Marcus Keltz.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John Houlihan.
