Margaret Jean Walsh, affectionately known as Peggy, 80, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Windham Terrace in Windham, NH.

She was born on May 8, 1945, to the late Richard J. Walsh, Jr. and Violet M. (Dexter) Walsh in Weymouth, MA. Peggy was raised in Natick, MA and attended local schools, graduating from Natick High School, class of 1963. She earned academic recognition as a national merit scholar and was a member of the national honor society. She went on to study at Clark University in Worcester, obtaining her bachelors of science degree in biology.

Peggy enjoyed vacationing on Cape Cod, watching Boston sports (especially the Red Sox), listening to classical music, and attending concerts with friends at Tanglewood. She was employed by State Street and KPMG for many years. Towards the end of her career and into her retirement, she was a loving caretaker to her mother.  Above all, she cherished time with her family.

She is survived by her brother James R. Walsh, Sr.; her sister Mary LeClaire; and her nieces and nephews Michelle, James, Matthew, Corinne, Ian, Mariana, Harrison, and Shannon; as well as her grand nieces and nephew. Peggy was predeceased by her brother, Mark Walsh.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 9:30 – 10:30AM, at Saint Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly Street, Framingham, MA 01702 followed by a funeral mass at 10:30AM.
