Loretta J. Marascia, 78, of Derry, New Hampshire, passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 31, 2025.

She was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Agnes (Schwab) and William Smith. Loretta devoted her professional life to the healthcare field, serving for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant before retiring from Tewksbury Hospital. She was remembered for her kind spirit, generosity, and compassionate nature.

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Giuffrida; her son, Sylvester "Rocky" Giuffrida; and her grandchildren Alyssa Beaulieu, Tyler Beaulieu, Alex Giuffrida, Aidan Giuffrida, and Sasha Lebling.

She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore Marascia; her son, Sean Marascia; and her son-in-law, Charles Beaulieu.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by planting a tree in her memory.
