It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and the heart of our family, Lise Diane Sirois.

To her beloved husband, Joseph Leopold Sirois, she was a partner in every sense of the word — strong, loyal, and unwavering. To her children, Nathalie, Danny, and Nicholas, she was our protector, our teacher, and the one who loved us fiercely through every stage of life. To her grandchildren, Skylar, Danny, Jake, Jillian, and Olivia, she was pure joy — proud beyond words and happiest when surrounded by their laughter.

Mom was one of many siblings — a family full of life, noise, and love. She was predeceased by seven of her brothers and sisters and now reunites with all of her deceased siblings, along with her mother, Annette Martin, and father, Johnny Bernier. We find comfort imagining that reunion.

If you knew Lise, you knew her strength. She faced life's struggles head-on, with determination that could not be shaken and a stubborn streak that was completely her own. She felt everything deeply and never hid her emotions — what you saw was exactly who she was. That honesty was one of her greatest gifts.

She loved through action. Cooking was her way of caring, and no one ever left her home hungry. Whether she was running her own business, working as a waitress and treating every customer like they mattered, or serving her family long after retirement, she gave her whole heart to taking care of others. Even when she stopped working, she never stopped serving. It was simply who she was.

Her laugh, her smile, her strong opinions, and her endless devotion to her family are the things we will carry with us. She touched so many lives — not in grand gestures, but in everyday moments of kindness, honesty, and love.

Mom would not want a room full of only tears. She would want stories shared, laughter echoing, and smiles breaking through the sadness. She would want us to hold our loved ones a little tighter and appreciate the days we are given.

When we think of her, we will picture that infectious smile and remember the strength she showed us. Her love lives on in all of us.

And we will celebrate her — today and always.

We are who we are because of her strength, her sacrifices, and her unconditional love. Thank you, Mom, for every meal, every lesson, every tough conversation, and every hug. We will carry you with us in everything we do now and forever.
