Linda J.
Vega
Oct 10, 1969 — Sep 19, 2025
Hudson
Linda J. Vega, 55, of Hudson, NH, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025.
She was born on October 10, 1969, to Catalino Vega and the late Anna Celia (Cruz) Vega in Chelsea, MA. Linda was raised in Chelsea and later graduated from Chelsea High School, class of 1987. Linda earned an associate degree from Bunker Hill Community College. Later, she received her bachelor's degree from Southern New Hampshire University.
Linda devoted her professional life to law firms in the Boston area. She commenced her career as a legal assistant in 1990, advancing through various roles, including legal secretary, administrative trainer, and manager of IT support, ultimately concluding her career as the assistant director of learning and development, a position she held with great pride. Her commitment to her career was just one of her many remarkable qualities. She was also a guest speaker at several conferences and volunteered her time to several charities.
Her most recent achievement was becoming a published author of the book "Lessons in Leadership," which is available on Amazon.
Linda's dedication to professionalism was not her only virtue. She brought joy to any room she entered. Her laughter was infectious, and her smile brought warmth to those around her. She loved deeply and would do anything to ensure the safety and happiness of her late sister's children. A role she took on without hesitation. Becoming Mimi to her grandchildren filled her heart immensely. She also adored her dog, Bella, very much.
In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, salsa dancing, going out to dinner, and spending time with her loving family.
In addition to her mother, she is predeceased by her sister, Maria Inez Vega.
Linda is survived by her father, Catalino Vega and his wife Betsy; her children Juliet Lamboy of Salem, NH, Johnny Lamboy of Salem, MA, Sam Colón of Hudson, NH and Bianca Colón of Manchester, NH; her three grandchildren; and her siblings Guillermo "Jerry" Vega, Marilyn Vega and Evelyn Vega.
