Lee B. Danzey Jr, 83 of Mashpee, MA, died peacefully Sunday, June 23, 2024 at his home in Mashpee.

Lee was born in Homestead, FL to the late Lee B. Danzey Sr. and Helen C. (Parker) Calcavecchia. He grew up and was educated in Stoneham and Arlington, MA, graduating from Arlington High School in 1960. He was a resident of Mashpee, MA for the past 32 years.

Lee was a salesman for Engineered Yarns Co in Fall River, MA. He was devoted to his family and his passion was gardening, and he also enjoyed fishing and cooking, especially breakfast and his amazing home fries.

Lee is survived by his wife Judith E. (Brown) Danzey of Mashpee, MA

Children: Leanne Murphy and her husband Donald Murphy of Arlington, MA, Douglas Danzey and his husband Thomas Carrier of Derry, NH, Leslie Danzey of Chelmsford, MA, and Rich Danzey of Sandwich, MA

Nine Grandchildren, Samantha Tremblay, Daniel Tremblay and his wife Sarah Tremblay, Luke Tremblay, Michael Soave, Rachel Soave, Taylor Danzey, Cameron Danzey, Greer Danzey, Parker Danzey and many Nieces and Nephews

Sister, Loretta Danzey Avant of Florida, Brother Richard Calcavecchia of Washington State, Joe Calcavecchia of NH, Paul Calcavecchia of MA, Stephen Calcavecchia of FL, John Calcavecchia of CT, Michael Calcavecchia of MA and his stepmother, Maria Calcavecchia of MA.

Predeceased by his stepfather, Benjamin Calcavecchia Sr. of MA and his siblings, Benjamin Calcavecchia Jr. of FL, Mary Danzey Wood of GA, Shirley Danzey Greer of GA, and Richard Danzey of GA

The family is truly thankful for the loving care given by Gina Gomez and Ken Otuo, whom they would have been lost without during the past few years.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours at The Chapman Funeral Home, 475 Main St, Falmouth, MA. on Thursday, June 27th from 11 AM to 2 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2 PM. Cremation will follow.
