Laura A. Ramos, 62, of Concord, New Hampshire, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.

Laura was born on May 20, 1961 and was the third child born to Patricia (Conroy) and Edward J. Ramos. Laura and her siblings grew up and attended local schools in a quiet NYC suburb, Suffern, NY. Laura went on to earn her bachelor's degree from the University of Portland, where she studied Criminal Justice. Laura remained in the Portland area of Oregon through her early thirties before moving back east to be near her family.

Laura was a kind and giving person, who would help anyone in need. Her desire to help others led her to a career in customer service.

Laura's niece and nephew, Christine and William Carpenter, were the light of her life. Laura was never happier than when she was being "Aunt Laura" and she always found creative ways to enjoy special time with them.

Laura is survived by her brother, Edward Ramos from Woodstock, GA; sister, Diane Carpenter, and husband Alan from Windham, NH; and niece and nephew, Christine and William. Laura was preceded in death by both of her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer.

This scholarship will annually support a graduating high school senior who wishes to pursue study in the field of mental health.
